The S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index finished the year with a gain of 2.04% for December, with Healthcare and Telecommunications the two best performing sectors. For calendar year 2014 the index produced a total return of 5.30%. Over the full year, Telecommunications and Utilities were the top performers, with Energy and Materials both weighing on the index with negative returns for the sectors.
